are you staying at harrahs, or going there to play poker, if your going to play poker, id head over to trop or something. harrah might only have 1 or 2 limit hold em games going on. trop will have a packed room and a 20$ tourny at 7pm

I am staying there...but a $20 tournament at the Trop sounds cool. Does their website have more info on it??

tropicana.net u can always call the poker room. every thurs they have a 20$ tourny and since its near the holidays im sure alot of tables of all limits and NL will be open

u have to be careful, cause i think at harrahs u have to play their games for a bit or they charge u for the room so just play slots for a bit

I was at Harrah's last weekend. They are re-doing their poker room. They currently are running their poker games up on the 3rd floor in one of the banquet rooms. I'm not sure how long the construction will take, but I assume it'll be done shortly because they are doing the WSOP circuit tourney next month.

I didn't play at Harrah's. I played over at the Trop and the Borgata. Harrah's only had 4 - 5 tables going in the banquest room and it seemed kind of weird. So, I went elsewhere.

Are they expanding the room? I can't imagine they have enough space to make that room big enough to handle the tournament next month. I think they're gonna have to play that upstairs anyway.

Sean - I think they are expanding it, but they could hardly make it any smaller  The area blocked off for construction is bigger then just the old room. As for the tourney, they probably use it for the final tables.
