If you use the board as your hand, do you have to show your "actual" two-card hand after the river?

Or, more simply, do you ever have to show cards you are not using as your hand?

hmm.... good question.

thing is... i would think that if you don't show your hole cards... you're basically folding. so even if you're playing the board, you probably need to show your hole cards in order to make a claim on the pot.

i could be wrong though.

Yea, OrgGrinder, you are right.


Im too lazy to copy and paste it, but there is a rule that basically says you have to show both of your hole cards to get any part of the pot.

if you expect to get any of the pot you'll be needing to show your cards.
