hey all, i posted this a while back in another thread:
I hold KsQs ...I have figured out that my opponent holds low pocket pairs (which turn out to be 3x3y)
I bet big preflop and after very much thought...he follows
We see the flop...JsTs8h...
I have an Royal Flush draw, Straight Flush draw (open ended), Flush draw, Straight draw (open ended), King pair draw, and Queen pair draw.
As a beginner/intermediate player I decided that the probablity of me winning was incredibly high and so I bet everything he had...I lost.

Can't be too upset. Hell, you only had...like...21 outs.

I was in a very similar situation once. I flopped the open ended straight/royal flush. Except my outcome was I hit the royal.

with 21 outs(9 spades, 3 kings, 3 queens, 3 aces, 3 nines), you are actually the favorite to win over pocket threes. It's a shame you missed em all.
In addition to your 21 winning outs, if the board paired twice, youd win there too.
Tough loss, but I would have done the same thing with a huge draw like that.
