Stores with poker tables? |

I am looking to buy another table rather than make another and was curious as to whether or not any local stores such as Target or Wal-Mart carry decent tables. Litehouse Pools in Toledo carries a 10 person table with folding legs for 249.99, which seems to be a decent price in comparision to most websites, and I would not have to pay shipping since it is 5 minutes away.
If there are no stores that have them, anyone know of any website where I can get a decent table for a total of 300 dollars or less?
Thanks

It seems though that the 10 seat one is a local thing only...(Miami)...but they still have some good deals...check it out...
BTW...this is not spam...I don't own the Sports Authority.....

ChkDeeznuts...Do you use or know someone who has used this table?? IT looks to be a great price. I know that it folds in half so is there any type of a crease?
Thanks for the link.

Okay, I've searched and the two options are at the SportsAuthority.com for 149.99 with free shipping until the end of the month, and the same offer at Dick's.com for anyone who is interested.

For anyone who thought about buying the table at Dick's or The Sports Authority..DONT!! I have spoke to several people and have read reviews that say that it is a piece of crap.
There is another kind similar to this that is a Pit Boss 10-person table (probably what someone mentioned earlier) that retails for 200-250 dollars and is a good table.
I am heading to Litehouse Pools to pick one up now

I am going to head up to Dicks in a couple days to see how this table looks. What were the complaints you heard about this table? I am in the middle of building my own, but for $150 plus free shipping, I have to go check it out. Having two tables would be better than just making the one and waiting until I have the itch to make another.
It doesn't look that great of a table, but I'll check it out soon and let everyone know my opinion about it. I'll take a look at durability, surface material, railing system, etc.

I searched on the 2+2 forums for folding tables, and this one popped up where people commented that it looked cheap and was not made well.
Also, Amazon.com has a review for this table that says it bows with weight on top as if it can not support it, then something underneath broke.
All of my local dick's stores do not carry any card tables, maybe yours do though.

That is the table I was talking about....here in Miami at the Sports Authority....it is $199.99
As for the quality...I know somebody who owns one and it's great....it is also easy to change the felt if you are at least a little handy......
I am picking one up this week.
For a little clarification.....I was talking about the Pitboss 10 person folding table....NOT the table top....

He paid around $350. Nice table for that price!

This is one of the few web sites I have seen this particular table at.
I picked mine up at Litehouse Pools this morning around 11. Total was just under $270.
I set it up when I got home and it appears to be a nice table for the price. It took no longer than 2 minutes to set it up and then collapse back in half.
There is obiviously a line down the center from where the table folds in half, but I dealt some cards over it repeatedly and none of them caught on the line or flipped over. Also, the table "felt" is not the most attractive color I've seen on a poker table. It's like a lime green color and does not really match the picture very well. I also leaned on the table pretty good at the store to see how much weight it would hold, and it is very solid and shouldn't break unless you have someone jumping on it.
Since the cheapest I could find for a quality table was 249.99 (this one) then about $400 dollars (most are $350 plus big bucks for shipping). It is nice for me because I live with my parents (only 18) and I have to set it up in the family room, then store it in my room, which was a pain with my home-made tabletop that was a little bigger than a standard table.
I reccommend this to anyone looking for a nice table for a decent price.

So you can't jump up and down on it? That could be a problem.

I can confirm that "ugly lime green color" it has....
The only drawback IMO.
picking one up next week.....The Sale for $199.99 ends on 1/5/05

$250 for that. Dude, you got ripped off.
No one here goes to walmart?

It's actually bigger than it looks and it comes with 200 chips. They aren't exactly great. But a lot better than those lousy suited or dice clay composite chips they sell everywhere. Only 75 bucks too.
