I guess he is in MN over the holidays visiting family. He has been getting crushed at the $30/60 tables @ Canterbury-but what is a few grand to him.
Rough nite for me, they had a big promotion w/ top hand of the hour getting $500-$2000, plus w/ the jackpot @ $90K, it took 3 hours for a seat.
I was up for 4/8, 6/12 and 8/16-finally I got in to 4/8-the table had just one the jackpot. Fun playing 4/8 w/ $90k at the table! One dude had half or $45,000+ in black-that is a lot of chips. Won a little before a 6/12 was available.
Moved and was breaking even. The table I just left hit the hourly best hand-quad Ks-someone won $1k. Finally my name came up for 8/16.
Moved again and 45 minutes later someone at the 6/12 table won $2k w/ quad Qs. DAMN-keep missing the big payday. On top of that, the 8/16 game had 4 tighter than tight 20 year olds-turns out they all knew eachother and were up together from IL. Screw that, I am outta here.
Anyway-7+ hours w/ under 4 hours of play. Very frustrating night.

Did he spit beer all over the table?
Kinda sucks you missed all the pay day hands though.
How much extra rake do they charge for the jackpot and the high hand for the hour?

No charge for high hand, just a free Xmas promotion. No extra rake charged for jackpot either, they just take the 1st dollar and add it to the jackpot. I might be wrong, but I think that their rake is 5% w/ a cap of $4. The reserve was still over $65k, so it started there after hitting last night.
Men didnt spill when I was there, but he had beer in hand before he was even seated. They have tables that sit next to you, so no beverages on the felt.
BTW-their stock ticker is ECP and it has been doing very well. It is a card club and horse track-the poker room traffic is up HUGE.

I almost went last night at about 11 but I called and the wait was insane so I didnt go. If I knew Men was there I mightve come out just to watch him play while I wait for a table. Oh well maybe hell be there later this week when Im there. Over the college breaks its almost impossible to get a table its almost not worth going.
