He/she then messages: "wow sorry" and "very lucky".
I post this for 2 reasons:
1) In response I was thinking "very stupid" and I almost typed it in and was going to proceed with a whiney rant after that, but I managed to hold my temper. That's not always easy for me. I'm trying to become a more gracious loser.
2) As a lesson. DON'T BE THIS GUY. Let's list his mistakes: a) he plays poker, b) he tries to limp from middle position with a hand that can only win with a flush or possibly 2 pair/full house, c) he calls a very substantial raise with this crap, D) He PUSHES a guy who has shown nothing but strength on top pair crap kicker and a 3 flush - it's barely a semi-bluff and really not a place to bluff at all.
Sigh. I'm still in it, but probably not for long.

The follow up. Somehow I managed to crawl my way back to the top of the table. It was just some well timed bluffs and some good cards (I got pocket aces two more times that game. I then made it to the money and loosened up my play quite a bit. It was only fitting that I went out third to this joker on this hand:

perhaps you shouldnt bluff your way trhgouh with a queen high against a "joker".... it wasnt right of him to call but i would say 3-handed a k-5 isnt as terrible of a hand as you would think. also, if he is pegged down by a fish you should probably just wait for an actual hand

sorry, its late at ngiht and didnt see the turn paired your jack. however, i still think it fits that his preflop call was alright because you only doubled the blinds. also, on the flop it was you who was behind and you hit the card

Well tryignt o buy the pot with 567 rainbow on teh board isn't a bad bet I don't think. He hasn't raised all hand. Call call call. So you can't think he has 2 pair of pp and if hes riding a straight you might push him off of it with a big bet. After hitting the JJ on the turn I would have thought I had the best hand aswell.
On the flip side....calling all in with a pair of 5's, and King high....is rediculous.
I woudl have folded after the J hit....

right, but we arent talking about a regular player, according to the poster he was a "joker" so maybe you should only wait for the really good hands to take down the fish and play pretty straight up

It was 3 handed. I wasn't going to wait for cards. I wasn't actually upset about the last one (or the first one for that matter since I was always ahead). I usually play for 1st or 3rd in that situation.
