I looked at Dice702's website this morning and see he's got some pics of the new mold up. I'm not affiliated with them, just thought people would be interesetd.

I'm sure they will sell plenty, but I'm holding out for a better mold and original inlay. I also don't like double spots on ALL chips, but I'm not going to get too picky about that. wtf is Istmus anyway? I assume a fictional city from the James Bond movie?

It's great that 702/Apache posted a real picture of the mold (bottom of page) in addition to the artwork of the new James Bond chips. The mold looks better in real life than I thought, if the quality is as good as casino chips. These will probably sell well.
But I still don't like the "Paulson Chips" in the mold. I understand why they did this, but it would have been classier IMHO to just put "Paulson" on the edges instead.
The Bond/Isthmus centers are a little corny, but the generic inlays at trademarkpoker look better, if they'll actualy look like that. Got to see pictures and get samples!

So is anyone else besides Dice702 and Trademarkpoker gonna be selling the new Paulson's chips?
Posted Thu Dec 23, 2004 7:59 pm GMT by PocketRocket
I think Trademark only wholesales to retail resellers with products packaged uner the Trademark brand. I think they do all of their direct consumer sales through their 5stardeal.com and 5 Star Wholesale names.

does anyone have a link to the order page for trademarkpoker for these?
and this mold is fine. i cant notice it on the dark chips anyways. the majority of my chips will be dark blue $1 chips so its not a problem.

Trademark's online site is 5stardeal.com. These chips aren't available yet so they're not on the 5stardeal.com site yet, but I'm sure they'll be posted when they become available.

heres the link to paulson. looks like u can customize but u gotta buy over 100,000 chips. Can you say group buy anyone? thats 100 people we need buying 1000 chip set. i think i was reading on the other site that 5000 chips will cost $4300 or .86 cents each. im hoping that 100,000 chips will cost around .40 to .50 cents each. Can you say GROUP BUY!

I like the look of those on trademark's site, I like the top hat and cane inlay better than the bond one. Anybody know how many different stock designs Paulson is coming out with on these chips?

Me too - but what's that text written on the inlay around the denomination? The resolution of that picture is not fine enough to read it.

| Quote: | There is a minimum order of 100,000 pieces for custom product. Your custom product will be limited to using the same color base and edge spots illustrated above.
Your custom product will not have any limitations on the inlay, as long as it does not conflict with any operating casino name. All register trademark and copyright art will require release signatures.

For customs, it sounds like you have to use those smae colors and can only change the inlay, that kind of sucks. Not like I'd be ordering 100,000 chips to begin with...
As for the text on the inlay, can't help ya there. It's way too small to make it out.

No idea what the actual text says.

I really dont care what they look like, if it sounds and feels like a Paulson, and at this price, IM IN!

Looks like something about Paulson, GPI, and stuff. Maybe it's all the GPI brands.

Think Dice will offer a sample pack of these? I'm not sure I would buy a set without actually seeing a chip.

They'll have to sell samples. I would say 100% that samples will be available.

Looks like trademarkpoker.com has a bigger design sample that was previously posted before

After I've emailed them about it before xmas regarding the writing on the inlays and asked them to put up bigger pics. I'm sure others have done the same.
I think Trademarkpoker's inlay is more appealing that the James Bond one. I guess I'll get the more generic inlay Paulson's once someone else starts selling them at a discount to trademarkpoker.

the inlays spell out the denominations... one hundred, fifty, etc.
