http://www.onlinelabels.com . There's also a site called worldlabel.com, but they just send it to onlinelabels who does all of the fulfillment. You'll want the 1" round label. It's available for use with either laser or inkjet printers (the two are not interchageable.) The inkjet version is a matte vinyl with almost a clay like surface to absorb the ink.

Try Jason at jasone@verizon.net.
I got his email from an ebay auction. He does the designs and labels for about 5 cents a chip. Located in Massachusetts. He was very responsive to email and had my designs with two days. He uses matte but can possibly do glossy vinyl.

MMA labels used to do them for you. Now they only provide the graphic and you have to find a printer/paper.

There's another very reputable person but can't think of him right now.
Try a search on ebay. Nearly all of the people who do this are listed there with auctions.

I'm having the label in my Avatar made for some Nexgen chips I'll be ordering Friday. My idea is to have the background color match the edgspots on each chip. This particular example would go on the Red chips w/purple edge spots.

What do you think?

edit: Avatar no longer relates to above post

I think your label should say Highjacker Poker Club Laughing

Might be nice if you at least included where you were getting your labels, cost, type & how many etc...

Should start another thread for comments.

Since only 7 posts... I'll add that it looks like it'd make a good button/car protector but the text is pretty small & the graphic too detailed for a 1" inlay IMHO. I like Southside Poker Club better but if you offer other table games then Casino fits. Maybe you can find a more simple chicago skyline?? I think matching the edge spots would look good but it might make the red chip look like a purple chip... maybe match the text & denoms to the edge color leaving the background the chip color... have to see it though.

Post some mock ups for comments.

I agree with Fins. I think it's going to be a problem making that visible on a 1" label. Besides, given the inaccuracies of manual feeding sheets into a printer, the edge text may be iffy at best. I think the design itself would be great on a Chipco or Nevada Jacks ceramic design. The only thing I see is the inaccuracy in the photo. I know the South Side of Chicago and that picture ain't it! :D Looks more like Michigan Ave. Wink

Apologies for the thread jack (I reread my orig post and that's exactly what it sounds like) but thanks for the input....I'm graphically challenged so this is not my design, but it is what I requested (Chicago skyline, color background, wording, etc...). This was designed by the other seller of custom poker chip labels on Ebay (cin0s3) and this is what he put together for me based on my specifications.

Cost will be apprx. $35 (incl. shipping) for 1" labels for 500 chips. I'll post pictures under a NEW thread when I get the labels on the chips. I'm kind of stuck on the look so I doubt I'll change much, but I now return you to your regular scheduled program.

I've been researching this custom chip label thing for the past week on the many Poker forums and my intitial plan was to do it myself, but it just sounded like too much trouble to try and print my own and line up the paper and be sure I select the proper margins....I just knew I would screw it up and plus I'm trying to have my chips ready for a big home game on Next Saturday Smile .

May all your river cards give u the winning hand (unless ur playing against me online)

edited multiple times because I'm an idiot who can't keep his poker forums straight...sheesh!

Good one my friend, but technically the Sears Tower is South of Madison (the street that divides Chicago's North from South) so I stand by Casino's name....lol
