Ran across this and thought it'd make good fodder for discussion.

Dr. Alan Schoonmaker wrote in The Psychology of Poker that psych tests have shown there are two occupations in which the "players" are tight/aggressive: police officers and fighter pilots.

I can definitely see why. Critical thinking and cruical decision making skills while under pressure is essential, and you have to be willing to take caculated risks to be successful in your "mission".
