I have another question. As im new to this, i havent played much sng tournaments...

But i have played a few and once and now ive gotten to where we are only 2 ppl left. At this point i usulu fold until decent cards and then all-in cuz it seems there so much luck with only 2 players...

Any thoughts on this and does anyone have any tips for these 1v1 situations?

I think that is too conservative an approach.
In heads up play it's a lot about playing your opponant rather than playing the cards you have.
Sure you want to have good hands, but so does your opponant.
Try and be aggressive, if he plays back and you have nothing, drop it.
But more often than not he will have crap and let it go.
Of course it's not this easy, you have to pick and choose your times well.
Mix it up some, try calling or checking with big hands, you can play slower now cos there aren't as many people to suck out on you. and also try raising with crap, If you have nothing you want to take that pot down NOW! so represent a BIG hand.

i agree. heads up no limit is where you want to play the player, more than the cards. in limit games, forget it. rarely are you able to bluff. people only stay in w/ winable hands, and your bet can rarely be enough to scare someone into muckin their decent hand. i.e. the rat stink game of $2-$4.
