I am new to this game. My son played this evening and asked me who the winner was in the following game:

3 Aces and the King of Spades up (communal).

Hole Cards

Player One: King of Clubs and a 7.
Player Two: King of Diamonds and a nine.

I believe Player Two is the winner as his 5th (tie-breaking) card is a diamond (K), and a diamond ranks higher than a club (K) (spades, hearts, diamonds, & clubs).

Who is the WINNER?

Thanks!!!

Both players have full houses AAAKK, so the other cards dont matter. Suits also dont matter in holdem. Also you should start a new thread instead of posting in somebody elses thread.

Yes you press the "quote" button and this opens up a reply which contains the original post.

This is not "hijacking" a post tho, this is merely quoting, or replying directly to a post.

The following is "hijacking" a post.

Hijacking is to take a topic off in a new direction from the original posters post just as Groner did.
Very ironic Groner ;o)
