:D Hello just came across this forum and decided to join up. My wife and I moved to the Seattle area last fall. I love to play poker but have only been playing on-line mostly to improve my skills.
I would like to know if anyone here knows of the best, friendliest card rooms in the Seattle area for newbies to the casino poker scene.
Thanks
Ozrock
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I play the 3-6 game at Kenmore Lanes. I haven't played at any other cardrooms in the area, but I've been pretty successful with this game. I've played for approx. six months and consider myself a fairly good player. There are usually about 4-5 good (tight aggressive) players at the table, along with a few beginners and a few more intermediate players. I usually walk out with some extra money....
Email me and we can play sometime.

I play at Kenmore as well, but mostly for the friendly dealers and people. The action is a little scary, because people will call almost anything. If you want a better game with more solid players go to Diamond Lils in Renton. If you play for big bad beat jackpots, go to Hideaway cardroom in north seattle. It's harder to hit, so it gets pretty high. I don't particulary like playing at Muckleshoot, but they do have a lot of tables. Have fun! I'm off to Vegas to play some bigger games next week...wish me luck.

Just read your quote: "Life's a gamble. Poker is a game."
Brilliant. Is it original?
