Looking to buy $1 chips from a LV Casino |

Hi,
I'm new here and have a friend in LV that's going to pick me up some $1 chips from the Bellagio. I am looking for another casino that has Paulson chips that are pretty cool. Any place I can see the actual chips that are being used in the casinos in vegas now ?

I've seen some sites that list all the casinos, but I can't remember. Here's one site that might be helpful. It has 11 pages of chips, including old ones. But you can usually tell which are the current ones.

You certainly picked a good one with the Bellagio chip. That's the best looking one, IMO. The other (used to be) Mirage places are also good -- Mirage, Treasure Island. Other good ones I've seen are Binion's Horseshoe and Four Queens downtown, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, Monte Carlo, New York, Rio, and Venetian. Palms & Luxor are usually pretty good looking, but Chipcos.

I have a couple hundred good-looking Paulson TH&C's from the Ameristar casino in St. Louis. These are 50cent chips and that's what I paid for them. You'll have to find someone headed up to St. Louis, like I did. If you're patient, you can build a nice little collection of half's and 1's this way.

I really like the look of the Ballagio chips so I just asked my friend if she would pick me up a couple hundred chips. I'm pretty excited and can't wait to get them. She said she would pick them up on Monday so I should have them by next week sometime. I appreciate all the links from everyone.

The $1 chips at Excalibur are pretty sweet.
They're blue with 3 double edge spots and are Paulsons, not Chipcos.
I almost bought a set last time I was out there.

please post a pic of excalibur. i too am going to buy 200 chips. right now im decing between bellagio and mirage but if excalibur looks good i might change my mind

wow missouri has nice 50cent chips! u guys must play alot of low limit games. i have never seen such nice 50 cent chips anywhere else!

Isn't that amazing? Beatiful 25 cent and 50 cent chips, and you can't buy a Paulson anywhere for much under 80 cents? My Ameristar are also pink, and very nice looking. So buy a couple hundred one's at a buck apiece. Buy some 50-centers and call them fifty's. Buy some quarter chips and call them 25 dollar chips. Makes for a nice set, way under market, that you can sell one day for a lot more than face.

That can't be a Paulson. I've got that chip in my collection. You'd have to ask a serious collector who made it.

I might have been confused, but I thought they looked like what I said in my earlier post. I just rechecked and I must have been looking at the $5 chips. Sorry for the confusion.

When you go to the Bellagio to get $1 chips, make sure you go to the poker room to get the chips. DO NOT go to the main cage, they are jerks there.
Go to the poker room and they will sort through the chips to find the newer chips. Bellagio chips are nice as they have that aged look. But for whatever reason, the blue always rubs off onto the white edge spots.
Dont even try the high roller tables as the minimum chip is $25.00
I frequent this casino a lot and generally know where the chips lay.

It all depends on the person who is servicing her, but generally the people in the poker room are nicer for some reason, maybe because of the different crowds they come into contact with.
But if you go to the high roller room, they will go in the back and open up boxes to get you MINT chips, and bring them back with a drink. But you have to play there though.
Thats how I got my 1000 MINT Bellagio $1 chips.

This is what I have right now that I am willing to sell at FACE VALUE.
I will only sell all 400 hundred at a time or if you can get others to buy them all together.
ALL $1 chips
100 MGM Grand (MINT)
100 Harrahs (MINT)
100 Bellagio (Slightly used)
100 Venetian (Slightly used)
The price will be $120.00 per 100 (I have to charge for Paypal and Shipping/Insurance)
Again, these are live chips and can be cashed in at their respective casinos.
Anyone can make an offer on any of the chips, but none will be accepted until all the chips are spoken for.
