Custom Chipco's

Posted Thu Dec 30, 2004 2:28 pm GMT by aamitch10
Hey, just wanted to post some pictures of my custom Chipco's. But don't know how to post pictures and have no website to serve them.

I got them about 6MO ago and love them. I would however change a few things about the design if I had it to do over again, and would probably have two different designs on the front and back.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Aaron

Those look nice! How about some close ups? I can't tell -- are they all the same graphic? What company did those for you?

Thanks... I will try to get some close ups, but am having difficulty with my camera. They are Chipco Customs. The graphic is a King/Queen and is the same on all chips. If I had it to do over again I would use one graphic on front and a different one on the back and maybe not put text on the rolling edge.

I have the following denominations:

$1 - 250 (Blue)
$2.50 - 250 (Pink)
$5 - 400 (Red)
$25 - 100 (Green)

I think the design is excellent, really top drawer. I personally don't like differing art on front and back, you want to be able to identify a chip right off the bat. I'm curious about the text on the face and sides, if you get a chance try another close up. Are the denoms on the side text? I'm curious about the $2.50 chip, do you play black jack at home or somesuch?

Did you order directly from ChipCo or through the Chip Store or Home Poker Chips? The set up fees direct from ChipCo are murder. If you don't mind I'd be keen to know what you spent total.

Good job on those.

K.

Thanks... I will try again Monday to get a better picture for you. The denominations are right in the middle of the edge spots. I also have a rolling edge of text that says Kenwood Poker Club. I ordered through Homepokerchips and i must say that I am very pleased with the service and plan to place another order from them soon. I want to add dime, quarter, and 50 cent chips. The $2.50 are becuase I love the structure of the 5/10 and 10/20 games and want to keep the same structure but for less money in my home game. So SB is 1 and BB is 2.50. This aslo works very well for 7Stud wich is the game I prefer. 25cent ante, $1 bring in, $2.50/$5. It keeps my desired structure but allows me to have a low limit home game.

Thanks for the comments, pictures soon...
