He's bought & sold chips for outrageous prices before, so I don't know what's up.
(Also don't know if/when eBay will take down that listing...)

I know this guy, he is a REALLY nice guy, I wonder why he is doing this. Oh well, people know what they want, and I dont think the people that were willing to pay 2.00+ a chip will even be influenced to buy the new Paulsons.
I think the new Paulsons are geared towards the people who couldnt afford (or didnt want to afford) the $2.00+ chips.
The new mold doesnt really bother me because I think it should blend in with the chips and it wont stand out.

If you ask me you can't blame the people selling the chips. It's the people buying them at those prices.....blame them. The buyer sets the price of the market (supply and demand). I think those vineyard chips are awsome and would love a set but the price is not what I'm willing to pay and be happy about it

It said "don't buy overpriced Paulson's on ebay anymore, wait 'til the new ones come out and buy those" . In more words of course, and it had links to the sites that will be selling the new chips.

I thought this might happen so I copied the web page to an archive to preserve it. But the Y2K+5 bug must have wiped it off my hard drive, because now I can't find it anywhere on my frickin computer. (Certainly it couldn't be operator error...!)
Sorry everybody.
But it was probably time to cap this anyway.
It was an impassioned screed about rip-off prices, and I at least admire his sincerity. But the American capitalist system lets supply and demand (plus irrational behavior by consumers) set prices.
