Pocket KTs on the button
Raise and lose a few players
Flop KKA
I'm feeling gooooood and slow playing a little
Check around to me, and I bet, called by 1 player
Down to heads up
Turn A - board KKAA
My boat K full of A
Check to me, bet again, called
River J - board KKAAJ
Check to me
Big bet, and called
He shows AJ
His boat, A full of K wins
I got played just perfectly, unfortunately. Checks and no re-raises to warn me -- I guess I was betting exactly enough for him!
I had the advantage after the flop, trip K w/ A kicker, vs. his AAKK.
I guess I should have bet real big at that point to seal the deal. But I don't know if he would have called anyway, he probably would have bet anything to see the turn (which turned out to be his winner).
Anyway, it felt like a bad beat, but that's poker.

Two parts of this hand that I question
1) Pre flop raised with K T, thats debateable
2) Big bet after the river. What were you thinking?! If you've got the option to check for a showdown, ask yourself before betting
a) is there anyone who would call this with a worse hand then me?
b) is there anyone who would fold with a better hand then me?
In this case the answer to both questions is no, there is no reason at all to bet this.

Thanks for the input, I'm always trying to learn. I didn't post here because I thought I played it right, but because I helped myself get beaten.
1. There were only limpers pre-flop up to me. I thought about calling but decided to raise 1BB to get rid of some of the riff-raff. Probably should've just called.
2. After I flopped the boat, I thought (correctly) that a weaker hand would call me, which is why I bet. This was a fairly loose table.
After the turn, because of the checks I also thought (incorrectly, it turns out this time) that I had the best hand, so I wanted to get some more of the other guy's money. Bad guess on my part, and he took advantage of me masterfully. But my adrenaline started to pump at after the flop and I didn't think it through, so I bet the river like I bet the flop. Wrong!

I would have gone all in after the flop
I'm not a greedy man. I don't care if he fold, In fact with the board showing KKA, I want him to fold, because A's are the cards people stay in with. If he has Ax I Don't want him hanging around to catch a river A. hes either all in for the show down or hes out and I take the pot

I wouldn't agrue with your bet on the turn here, I probably wouldn't have bet it but, again that's debateable, when he calls it should tell you he as an A or the 4th king, this is your que to stop betting. Your mistake here was assuming a check = I have nothing.
As for betting the flop harder, I wouldn't have. Again it comes down to can I get someone with a better hand to fold, or can I get someone with a worse hand to call? A really large bet on the flop accomplishes neither.
