Tournement set

Posted Sat Jan 01, 2005 8:38 pm GMT by kenny
I've heard alot of talk on this forum like " Ill buy that set for my tourny set" or " I got custom chips for my Tournement set". What is a Tournement set? And if you lose those chips after the tournement do you get them back?

I think people are talking about having different sets of chips for playing tournaments and for playing cash games. They may have a set that is only $5, $25, $100, $500 for tourneys, and then a more/less expensive set for playing cash games with $.25, $.50, $1.00 chips.

looks more like a home tourney 'kit' to me, including chips (yes they can make then custom-made), table-top, cards n stuff....
