Im just looking for a 1000 to use for home tournaments. I figure these are somewhere near the middle as far as quality. Im not really sure about the first ones. They look really good but are really light. The second ones seem to have recieved good reviews.

I figure you meant 1,000 chips, not 100.
Of those two, I'd get the 13g ones, but the price is a little high. You can do better buying the same ones on ebay from 5stardeals.

The 13 Gram ones have a great "feel" to them....but they are VERY HEAVY.....they feel as if they are made of lead......the white ones though are great chips......The reds and Blues are hideous...I really like the green ones....pass on the blacks with the pink edge spots.
BTW....I own a sample set of 20 of those....
TOO HEAVY.....
