need inexpensive tourney set (and rolling case?) |

I'm looking for roughly 2000 chips to hold some 40-50 person tournaments with, and I don't want to spend a fortune. Please save the chip snobbery - I'd love to buy a set of chipco's but it's just not in my budget.
So here's what I am looking for:
1) Customizeable chip quantity. I don't want many (maybe not even ANY) reds/whites, and I have an idea of what I do want to accomodate these tournaments.
2) 11.5g chips - the "cheap-o" kind like the Dice set I already have are all fine and dandy but of course I won't complain about nicer ones. There's a couple designs out there that I dislike, but I'm not going to be terribly picky here.
3) Carrying cases - for 2,000 chips I'd like either 2 or 4 cases -- however, I saw this one case in an eBay auction a while back (which I cannot find for the LIFE of me now) that actually had wheels on it, and if anyone knows where to snag a case like that -- I'd LOVE to know. Hauling 2000 chips around is HEAVY.
So, who has the most inexpensive chips out there? 5StarDeal isn't all that cheap like I thought it'd be - many/most of the 1000 chip sets are pretty expensive...
Suggestions anyone? And if you can find me that rolling case (google has been of no help thus far) - I'll be endebted to you...

I would just go to 5stardeal and buy the exact quantities you want. They also happen to be about the cheapest around, and have good service to boot.

^^ That's their chip line, sorted from cheapest up. You can see that there are only two chips cheaper than your dice, so topping-off your dice chips would be just fine.

Here's another option... not the one your looking for though...
1000 chips & accessories case It has room for felts & multiple decks etc...
then get one of those light luggage carriers... something like this
I've seen a case on wheels but I can't find a link either.
Probably best to top off your set but the Nexgens are good and the 10g Faux's are cheap/good (solid colors). I don't think 5star's prices are that bad... you can certainly find better deals on e-bay but you know what you're getting at 5star. Been a few posts as of late looking for good value chips.

Try this site. They do custom printing on cheap chips. It's similar to hot stamping but it's totally custom.

Don't know how decent these are, but it's hard to argue with the price. 1000 chips for $99
