Is anyone playing in the Tropicana $25,000 tournament on January 15th?

Atlantic City? The usual $200+$25 Saturday tournament is cancelled that day.

they can update the tourny page, but they cant update the promotions page, they still have the aces cracked up there from last may

Sorry, being on the East Coast I don't think of Vegas right away.
Anyway, I got a promotion from Trop for a $25,000 poker tournament. I entered but didn't know if it was invite only or if it was going to be open registration.
I was curious what the buy-in was if it was open and how many people to expect.

It might be the "Tournament Leader Board" freeroll tournament they run each month. They have a point system that tracks your Trop tournament results, and the top 100 or so are invited to the TLB tourney. I don't play tournaments, so I've never been invited; but, I'm pretty sure the prize pool is $25,000.
They also have a $1,000 freeroll each month for players who log more than 30 hours the prior month. I always get invited to that one.  Problem is it's always on a Monday morning, so I never find time to play.
