I am heading to Canterbury tonight and spending the night @ Grand Casino Hinckley next Friday.
I should have a US flag on my hat (lucky one from jackpot day!) if happens to be there tonight. I havent planned my wardrobe for next week yet .

You're married, right Dave? How do you get away with playing so much poker? I'd love to get out more often but Ms. Buffarino would never go for it. I'm jealous.

I know my wife can't stand when I sit down and play 2 SNG's when she's home let alone always get to go out. Although the funny thing is that, she really enjoys when I cash out at months end.....Thinks it's her money.

When I play online at home, it is after she and the kids have gone to bed, or at naptime on the weekends.
Live games, I go on a weeknight, so I will get home, do dinner and baths w/ the kids, then take off around 6-6:30pm. Kids are young so they are in bed before 8pm.
On top of that, my wife knows that I have some success and 95% of the money goes into the household.
So, last night took my 1st shot at 15/30. I held my own, but it was like tip toeing through a minefield. I started out on fire and was up $1100 in under 90 minutes. I knew it wouldnt last, winning over 2 racks is tough, but I could leave now-I had just gotten out of the house. So I bled most away before catching a couple nice pots and suffering some bad beats. Left up $250 after 6 hours. Nice night, but still kicking myself for letting entertainment win out over finances.
Big hands-67 blind flop 765. 2 bet flop, capped turn, I rivered a 6 for the boat. One guy had nut str8 and another hit ks and 7s on the turn. Didnt know I only had 2 outs.
9 10 suited EP capped preflop 5 way action ($375 prelop). Flop 10 9 5 w/ 2 diamonds. I check raise, knowing one dude has the big pair. All call.
Turn 4, I bet, one caller and the big pair. River 5.....DAMN! 2 pair worthless. I check and call river. KK as expected, rivered on a nearly $700 pot. The other guy had 87 clubs, so they actually had 13 outs against me on the flop and 16 on the turn. Ahead in the hand but under 50% favorite.
All in all, players were tough, but loose. All either aggressive or tight aggressive. 3 or 4 betting on a bluff wasnt uncommon. Preflop if there was 3 bets, it would inevitably get capped. Laid down a HUGE pot w/ AK. 4 bet preflop (4th bet was all in) 5 way action. Flop 6 9 10, I call one bet on the flop, then 3 bets come back to me. I fold. Turn K. River blank, KJ wins w/ a pair of Ks. OUCH.

I know what you mean about the 15/30 game. I play a monday night game which is 9 players 20/40 and I almost ALWAYS go up $1000 or more but can't leave because it's bad taste to get up early with everyone's money and go home. So I stay and play tight and end up going home with maybe $250 up.
Then last week I decide to keep playing my game and see how much I can rip into people. I go up $800 and then suddenly my AA, KK and AKs are getting cracked by 99, 88 and 89s and I'm DOWN $1000. That sucked, suffice to say I want my money back LOL.

You sense that you are w/ different players when the conversation is about the 100/200 home game. Comments like, "yeah, I dropped $5k, but then I refinanced his $800k mortgage and still came out ahead."
