Hey everyone,
I've been playing poker for a few months now, i've read 3 books, i know all the math, when to fold, when to raise, ect. Most everyone i know (and myself) consider me a very unlucky person - but i still do okay. After playing with someone a while they recommended i play in heads up games since its a 50/50 chance to win. I've been following his advice on poker stars and played in the 5 dollar heads up games - won quite a few, so i moved up to the 10 dollar ones and haven't been doing nearily as well(i've lost most of my 5 dollar winnings).
so im asking if anyone knows of any online site/book/magazine/ect that has good, solid, heads up information - or any information that you may want to add - that may improve my game.
thanks,
patrick
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

Bob Ciaffone's "Improve Your Poker" discusses it a little. There isn't much literature on it because most people play ring games.
