Do any of you put a cap on raises while playing P/L? I've seen some say 3, or 5, and none? What do you prefer? Thanks.

I’ve never played in a PL game where there was a limit to the number of raises.
There doesn’t seem much of a point since the bet limit allows you to exponentially increase with raises anyway. So it wouldn’t offer much protection.

In general I think there's no cap for big bet games, but I've played in a PL home game that had a limit of a bet and three raises per round. Hardly ever came into play heh.
