I'm sorry, as I think this has been discussed before, but searching turns up nothing.
Mike holds 89 he raises minimum. Teddy limps.
Flop: 6 7 T Mike flops the nut straight.
Mike checks. KGB bets $2000. Mike limps. "You're on a draw, Mike?"
Turn: 2
Mike checks. KGB bets $4,400. Mike calls.
River: A (Board 6 7 T 2 A )
Mike checks. KGB goes "All-In." Make calls, turns out his 10 high straight.
.
.
.
.
So what did KGB have? T7 would give him top two pair. But Mike called $4,400 on the turn. Did Teddy really think he called a pot sized bet on a gutshot or a sucker straight draw?
Maybe he had TT. That would give him a set of tens. But again, for Mike to call a pot sized bet he'd had to have known SOMETHING was up.
Thoughts? Or link to a previous thread that covers this?

My thoughts? It is a movie.

you don't need to know, because a pro doesn't even worry about it.
:D

Yes it's a movie and no a pro may not worry about it, BUT a lot of the discussions around here are about the feel/texture of the game (and the things surrounding it). I am not a pro, and I personally enjoy some discussions about obscure poker topics.
Everyone may not see the "value" in the original posters question, but if someone can help with an answer, that's what should be done...it's what forums are all about.

The producers said once that KGB had AA....and he put Mikey on top pair, but told mikey if he was on a draw as a way of needling him.......when he makes the set of AAA...kgb thinks he has the nuts and now thinks that a set of ten's would be forced to call......
Then BOOM....straight.

I think he was on 10-10...
My only worries on this is what he was putting mike on.
it was so obvious that mike was slow playing this hand...
He could have put him on 6-6 or 7-7 or 8-7.
But one thing is sure he should'nd go all in with a possible straight on the board. Plus an Ace... (assuming he as the 10s)
As mike should'nt have raise KGB with the second best Full house. IMHO...
Easy to say... I say it as I never suffer a bad beat.
