Im pretty new to this game, and i started playing 0.25/0.50 NL and PL on the internet. If you play in a 6-handed game you usually have 6 callers and no raisers before the flop.
Do anyone else here play this type of games and do you have any tips on how to play.

Merry x-mas

Wait, so are you talking about loose-passive or loose-aggressive games? Well, truthfully the answer is about the same. I believe the usual answer to a loose table like thist that calls about everything is to play pretty tight. Hopefully you are aware of what these terms mean.

Tight--You only play mediocre-good hands
Loose--You play any cards you want to...usually seen as a maniac.

Then, when you get those aces or kings value bet the heck out of them. That means do not check-raise or anything, try and drive anyone chasing that straight draw out you know? You'll get the hang of it.

I've noticed that in lower limit poker ($2/4) at least in cardrooms it seems there are people who will call with ANYTHING. The last two nights at 2/4 and 3/6 limits, there was at least one person each time who would call pre-flop with literally any hand. I think I saw the 2/4 guy dump his hand only to a raise or if he had to call 2-3 bets cold after calling. He would would proceed to call the turn (even 2 bets) hoping to catch his miraculous draw...and he did. He made J2 off work SOOOO many times it was crazy. (Made like 2 boats with this hand and trips).

I of course played tight all night and ground out a loss of like $24 in over 5 hrs playing time. It seems at this lower limit game the whole call to the turn strategy isn't that crazy (tho I think I did beat this call station on 3/4 showdowns....soooo....) as u get to see what ur most likely hand is and as u play almost anything, raises will scare often scare off top pair with good kicker or when there is a pair on the board. I will never play like this, but it really hurts to play tight all night, finally catch a 'premium hand' like pocket Qs, cap pre-flop, cap at the flop to low low low cards, and bet out with a low turn and river only to be beaten by pocket As. And then I pull 28 off in the big blind, hit a 2 on the flop, 6-7 people check to the turn and to the river, hit an 8 on the river and bet, get raised by the call station (he obviously doesn't understand that people in the BB will play anything pre-flop w/no raise as I butchered him another time in the BB w/ 27off) and re-raised.

Should I just move to higher limits as playing premium and strong hands at 2/4 and 3/6 will just not be worth it when I drag the pot?? (And get beaten by people with miraculous draws and then really get low in the chips)
