Hi
I have played on partypoker for a while and felt like a change. (Sorry to all you hardcore lot, its just demo at the moment, i only play real money offline... or try!)
Heads up dealer plays SB; I established this before when someone argued over it with me and I became unsure, so came on here to have the correct rule established.
Trouble is, i have been playing in tourneys at Absolute poker, and the dealer pays BB when heads up???
This is not the rule i have used or have seen, so is this rule just open to use as you wish? or are Absolute wrong like i think they are?
Cheers

As far as I know, deal is always the SB. I guess house rules might come in to play here.

At our cash games we do it different depending on who had what blind before the 3rd person went out. So sometime dealer is big blind, sometimes they are small blind. Depending on who went out where in the rotation.
I figure, when it comes to that, it is about the same anyway. Both can fold at any time. We do play limit though too!

The dealer should be the SB in heads up play, but if the site wants it to be the other way around, it's their site, their rules.
