hi,
i searched the forum for this but didn't find anything. forgive me if the question has already been answered.
does anyone know what type of chips are used on the poker superstars invitational on FSN? i have tried slow motion and all but i just can't seem to figure out what they are.
also, thanks to all of you for the great information here. it's cool to see that there are other people out there obsessed with poker chips and home poker games i plan on getting a custom set in the near future. i am still in the research phase, getting sample chips and reading as many reviews as i can.
thus far i have samples the chipco chips from homepokerchips and have some ASM chips from pokerchips.com on the way.
thanks
josh

The ones that were used for the Poker SuperStars Invitational II at Morongo Casino in Cabazon CA last month appear to be the 10gr chips from Blue Chip (their 8.5 gr only has a half circle of flames). You can see the chips at http://www.chipguide.com/cgi-bin/search/search.cgi?id=cacacm . It will be shown as a 34 episode series on Fox Sports this year. Should start to air pretty soon as the last episode is scheduled for early October.

thanks for the replies. i really like those chips. the look, the sound (on TV at least). i never thought choosing a chip for my home set would be so difficult!

Yes I agree that choosing a home set is trickier than I thought it would be!
