$6/$12 at the Trop last night. I limp with 8 9 on the button.
Flop comes J 9 9 . Checked to me. I bet, called only by UTG.
Turn comes K . Checked to me again. I bet, get raised, I call. I figured A9 or Kx.
River comes 8 UTG bets into me, I raise, reraised and I call.
I lose a big pot to J 9
Still finished +$100 for the night.

unlucky
from his point of view he was loving it - you cant beat it when you flop and full house and someone else has made a strong hand as well

Have to put my hand up and admit I would have lost money here. Thing is no one ever really expects their opponent to have flopped a full house so when it happens its usually painful.

After the check raise on fourth street, I would have been terrified of K9. I certainly wouldn't have raised on the river after a check raise on 4th. That being said, it's certainly a tough hand to play. The worst hand in poker is the second best hand at the table.
