Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I've got one of those 3-in-1s tables (poker, dining, and bumper pool). It is pretty nice. So you can't be totally crazy.
But a full-size pool table? A couple of potential problems come to mind:
a) Pool tables aren't (normally) designed for chairs/seating around them. Most have pretty tall (thick?) sides, and legs that might be in the way.
b) Pool tables are pretty large. It might be hard to see the cards or reach the pot.

A regular size pool table would not work at all as a Poker table.

i have a pool table and so does my friend and we play on both of them sometimes when we have a bigger game.
you have to have the perfect height chairs for the pool table or else you either wont be able to scoot in all the way or will be leaning over too much
another factor should be the amount of money you are willing to spend on a pool table, and i might be able to help you pick one out, i have a brunswick :D
also could you post some pics of your 3 in 1 table (for the other guy)?

I don't have pics handy, but I bought a floor model from this place in Vegas:

Sorry their pictures aren't very large on that site. The table I bought is similar to the Excalibur model, 3-way, and we bought 6 chairs.
