I have a Kestell Octagon table with a paded vinyl top and want to re-do it with Velveteen. Anyone seen this done before? Links?

I have a similar table, although maybe not similar enough - It had some screws on the underside which I simply undid, then popped off the center piece, velveteened it (is that a word?), and screwed it back. It worked great, although I know my table is not a Kestal, it looks profoundly similar. Hopefully, yours has screws on the bottom...

Checked mine, no screws on the bottom at all. Thanks for the suggestion though.
velveteened isn't a word, but should be!

The table I bought had the center just hot-glued to the table.
The hot-glue had come undone. I just scraped the glue off, and used velcro to reattach.
Maybe your's can be carefully pried off the table....

I called Kestell -- They said the material is just tucked in and should be easy to remove. They were pretty vague on how to get it out though, said to be carefull. Anyone know of a good tool to get this done with?
