Alright, I posted earlier that I want a set purely for tournaments, with either no denominations or high denominations but did not get any response, so I'll try an easy poll.

I like the Nexgen better, don't like the graphics on the vegas pros.

Oh God... that's what those things are called! I've played with those before... I thought they were junk! Just my opinion. Have a few samples of Nexgens, No contest the nexgens are much nicer!

I had a set of 500 Pro Las Vegas 9 gram (I had the ones with the larger inlay and less "clay" material) and in the feel department they blow the Nexgens away IMO. It was hard for me to let mine go but I felt obligated to use the Nexgens because they were new and I ordered custom labels for them. I now enjoy the feel of the Nexgen but the only advantage they have over the Las vegas chips is weight (and looks) but ofcourse that's subjective.
I didn't like the bleeding of the 9 gram chips on the side design (I bought mine off ebay from 2 diff. sellers) so if anyone knows of a vendor or ebay seller that sells these without blemishes, please let me know because I want another set of 500.

"Surething office labeler program to make the chip labels using a template from onlinelabels.com. That program works great but I highley recommend you use the bleed function or you end up wasting a lot of labels."

I would definately go with the Nex Gens hands down... in my town we play almost every weekend... and between the players in my town i have sampled almost every "cheap chip" on the market... and i just recently purchased a set of Nex Gens.. and i like the weight and feel of them compared to the other chips... also they leave spot for a custom label... so you don't have to tear off a factory label to customize them.,.. the 9 gram chips feel kinda light to me... and i don't like that in a chip.... it's all a matter of preferance tho....

Haven't played with the Nexgen's at all but I do have some of 9g Premier Vegas chips (large inlay) and I will say they are nice especially when compared to any of the 11.5g plastic chips. They are on the light side and the inlay is definitely a matter of personal preference. They do stack nice even when compared to some ChipCo chips that I own. I also like the colors on them but I have noticed issues with the edge and side spots on the chips. The spots are not very consistent but who spends that much time studying the edge spots.
I have a set of 1600 of the 13.5g stripe suite clay composite chips and the 9g Vegas are definitely nicer and stack much better.
