Vegas Poker Rooms - the Debauchery |

No hand analysis here... just an observation of life and attitudes at poker tables in vegas.
I was at the Palms in Vegas, getting a bad run of cards for a long while, but having fun, because Candy was bringing me heinekens and shots of jack daniel's that only cost me $1. Early in the night, it was a table mainly of young guys, who were debating on the cuteness of Candy, our cocktail waitress. She was pretty to me, and I can be picky myself. We weren't all in agreement though. Some felt she was the hottest thing - auburn hair, 5'7" frame, nice breasts pushed to show nice clevage... and really overall just a sweet girl. Others felt that she was cute but not that hot. Most importantly, she was polite to us always and a good cocktail waitress. And we were polite to her, never did we say anything rude or obnoxious.
Later in the night, after the younger guys were gone, the table later became the regulars. And I remember one particularly old man, in his 70s... outspoken and abrasive... he'll always have something to say and no apprehension of saying it. Candy was still on her shift, and she came back with a beer he'd ordered. He tipped her a dollar. Then, he said in his gutteral voice, "Hey, Candy, here's another dollar for you. You have such nice boobies and I know that not enough guys out there tipped you for having such nice boobies...." She just smiled, and said, "Oh how nice thank you!" She didn't care enough to be upset... I think it's her job not to let a comment like that bug her.
And it was just funny to me that we younger guys were being polite to her, when it was okay to even be a little obnoxious. The only rules you had to follow on the poker room tables of vegas were the card rules... everything else is secondary and not necessary.

Yeah old guys can get away with it but don't try that crap yourself, or else her 250 pund musclehead brother or boyfriend named Rocco will put you in your place...
