Usually I don't complain about bad beats, I might get pissed for a few secs, but than I just shake it off and remind myself that most of the time I'll beat that persons $#& in pots. BUT, this one was ridiculous. Was during a $10 NL tourney on UB. I'm not doing too bad, have about double the starting amount, but of course looking for good times to double up on monster hands. I get 55 in the pocket, raise a decent amount, enough to get most of the crap out. Get I think 2 callers, might've been one. Flop comes with like a 9, 5, and something else, rainbow. I check of course, guy raises, and I go all in. Was still enough that someone without a decent hand or at least SOMETHING would fold. He calls, with an A 4 os. I'm pretty happy, since he's almost drawing dead, aces or 4's aren't obviously going to help.........than I realize in horror what 2 cards came (I was semi paying attention at that point)......a 2........and a 3......
I agree with most of you about crying about bad beats, blah blah, that's poker. I hear ya. But THIS just pissed me off beyond belief. How this guy could call such a big reraise after I checked, with NOTHING, hell an ace 10 had him dominated at that point.......and than get paid off with a $%*(%$ runner runner, pulled outta the ass straight......man, I love idiots like this, but there's some days I could just strangle them.
