Hey hows everyone doin!
I got a quick question for anyone that has played No Limit Texas Hold Em at Foxwoods in CT. I went to Mohegan Sun a few months ago and they got rid of thier Poker Room. So I will be going to Foxwoods this upcoming weekend. I just went to their website to find out about their tables. All I can find is a Tournament Schedule where the buy ins are all over $250, besides a few $60 that are only at 8 am a couple of week days.
But I do remember reading a post here where someone said that they played No Limit at Foxwoods for a buy in of only $25. Can someone that goes there regularly fill me in on thier Ring Games. I am interested in knowing the buy ins and structure.
Thanks so much in advanced!!!
Mike

What MasterShake said is correct.
There are ACT I, II and III events as well. I don't play them because they don't pay out, they just advance the chip leaders to the next stage.
Have fun at Foxwoods, maybe I'll see you there :D

Yes it is true that you can play the 1/2 NL for a minimum buy-in of $40 and max of $100. But before you go, keep in mind that if your gonna go on the WEEKEND, you better get yourself there VERY early if you want to sit down right away. As anyone might tell you, it is an absolute madhouse over there on the weekends, so I would suggest getting there at 5am so you can sit down right away. I went this past veterans day, (one of those half-holidays in terms of how many people are off from work) and I had to wait almost 3 hours to sit. Expect it to be worse if you get there in the afternoon.
And don't forget, play tight/aggressive. Play the premium hands for the most part only, unless you can limp in or are in late position. Once you've seen a flop, be aggressive, because you will be given the benefit of the doubt for only playing top hands if your not in there firing away with 27o. Everytime i've gone to foxwoods at the 1/2 tables i've always come home with a decent chunk of change playing that way. Good luck and have fun.

I went yesterday and played for 2 hours at the 1-2 NL
Its $5 per 1/2 hour to play and a min $40 buyin max $100
This was the 1st time at a casino.
I walked away with $334 after buying in for $50.
I was proud of myself.
I played very tight as someone on here instructed me to.
I was called all in twice.
I was nervous big time as I usually only play with people I know and I walked in expecting to get beat I just didnt want to go out quick.
I would say table image is huge.
When I bet the majority folded out where as there were a couple people who would raise to $20 and fold if someone came over the top of them after the next card fell for just $2.
I had fun and plan to go again sometime this summer.

I didn't ask for which game had the lowest blinds...I already knew that.
Let me clarify, what is the lowest limit game they spread at Foxwoods, I plan on heading up there next month.
Also, does any casino in AC offer a 1/2 NL 100 max buy in? Most of the places I've been to it's been 60min 300max.
