ok yesterday i was playing heads up texas no limit hold em ......unfourtunatley my oppenent was my cousin (a rookie) at this game she had 1/4 of the chips i had.......I have been playing for a while i pretty much now all the who wins(I know i won but this is to let him now from other poker players not just me) OK this is what we had
there was no flush out there so suits i wont put in this question
I had A 10
HE had 2 2
I called all in before the flop and he called it .....ok......
flop was J 3 9 (TURN WAS) J (AND RIVER WAS) 9
J 3 9 J 9
SO HE SAYS HE WINS CAUSE HE HAD POCKET 2's But we both have TWO PAIR but i have ACE HIGH...
he argues that i didnt have anything therefore he wins , I Explained to him that we both have TWO PAIRS being JACKS and NINES there for his POCKET 2's were eliminated and his KICKER was the 3 on the table....to My ACE......I think this is a very easy to answer question IM 110% sure i won and he got MAD .....LOL......Again this is for him not for me...Thanks in Advance

The best 5 and only 5 cards play for each player. It's very simple when you look at it that way.
Your hand was JJ99A.
His hand was JJ993. The pocket 22 is worthless in that situation, since 9s are higher than 2s, and you can't play 6 cards, so he plays the board.
The winning hand is JJ99A.

His hand was counterfeited by the board. You were correct AJJ99 wins the pot.

Yes your Ace plays and gives you the best hand. Its the best 5 cards.
