Anyone ever customize NEXGEN chips? If so, post some pics....I might be doing so as well.
Also anyone ever play with or sample the Nexgen River Poker Tour Chips? I DEFINITELY WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THESE CHIPS.
Are these are similar in feel, stackability, etc. to the Las Vegas 8100/8200 Nexgens?
They look cool and 5 Star has a really good price, but I can't decide. SO PLEASE HELP.
Maybe some posts will help steer me to a chip that I can create customized labels for. I hope some good pics and recommendations are posted.

what? All I'm asking is if people have experience with these and their thoughts. I know what a search engine is. Great advice.

d, this topic has been discuessed at LENGTH recently, on several posts. I for one do not want to go over all my thoughts again so soon, when it was just asked this week. Seriously, do a search for "NEXGEN" in CArds, Chips, and Tables forum.

Nexgen 8200 series? Is there an 8200 series? if so, where can I see pics? or did you mean 8002?
you can find some comments in this thread http://www.texasholdem-poker.com/forum/t8231/new-nexgen-chips-series-8002

For further clarification:
I searched this site and others for River Poker Tour Nexgens and all everybody talks about is the regular "Las Vegas" Nexgens. Is there a difference between the two? I know people talk about the regular Nexgens here quite a bit as I read the posts but I've not heard thoughts, opinions of members regarding the Nexgen RPT chips.
I don't care for info on the regular Nexgen in EITHER SERIES, only the River Poker Tour model. Unless people have customized the Nexgens and wanted to post pics for the community. So therefore, if you or anyone else knows about the NEXGEN RPT chips in terms of quality, stackability, and would like to add quality insight, please do so. If just ignore the post, I'm only trying to be a positive and active community member.

This was posted by PinataUT in the thread I pointed you to.. is this the type of information you are looking for?

the river poker tour chips are made of the same composite as the nexgen 8000 and 8002s...however, they do not have the textured edges present on the 8000/8002 "las vegas, nevada, usa" series, and thus are a bit less grippy and a bit less stackable than the textured cousins...

pie taster, thank you for the quote. I've noted to search for RPT, makes sense to me.
