Poker chip review

The post a few below (about free mag subscription) contains a link to a site which offers poker chip reviews. I'm sharing an email I just sent them:

I note that you have a review of the Tangiers chips on your website. You give the chip a thumbs up, so to speak, and your review is generous, to put it mildly. You do your readers a severe disservice. This chip, although quite nice looking, has a SEVERE design problem which I have discussed in the chip forum I moderate at TexasHoldem-poker.com. The chip is NOT the standard thickness associated with all casino chips. Normal chip racks can not be used to count and organize chips because it takes 22 Tangiers chips to fill a row in a standard chip rack. If one tries to mix these chips in play with other styles you have a complete mess, since a stack of 20 or 25 Tangiers doesn't match in height with any other normal chip on the planet.

I purchased several hundred of these chips from Spinetti's. My attempts to discuss this issue were ignored completely. My request for a return for credit likewise went unanswered. There is nothing about these chips or the people who sell them that I would recommend to anyone I know. You might quit being a shill for the chip sales people and try providing honest, accurate, useful information.

Thank you,
George McGuan

Most of those import chips are either too thick or too thin to fit 20 to a rack stack. I'm not sure why the fact that more than 20 Tangiers chips going into a stack should be such a surprise. You'll also want to stay away from both of the Jackpot Casino chips (coin center and silk screen) along with the coin center WSOP chips, they're all thin as well and you can fit 21 into a stack.

I'll post what I get, Tony. So far nothing. (Big surprise!)
