I was just wondering if anyone has ordered clay chips from PC.com without a custom inlay. I was thinking about doing this because its half the amount of money compared to getting the custom inlay and I just want some good quality chips. That being said, I would like to know if they have the same sound without the inlay. I love the look and sound with the inlay, I just can afford it. Anyone have any input?

x-files,
the chips look great, i was just wondering how they sounded. chips with inlays seem to have a "click" to them when you drop one on another, which i assumed was from the inlay. i just wondered if they have that same sound or if its more of a dull sound....

I find that there is no difference in sound to me. I know it takes a while to get samples from them but I would get samples and hear for yourself. I think they sound great.
