Is it just me, or would these chips be the best composite chips ever if they only had multi-color chips. An edge spot look would make them by far the best composites. They have an amazing sound. I really thought they would sound like cheap plasic, but they echo like a casino chip and have a great texture. The texture is that of a clay chip just not soft like clay. Definitely beats the slick plastic/metal dice chips. Obviously, I still prefer clay chips, but with some edge spots, I would get 1000 or 2 of these for some home games, especially at the price right now ($.06). For those of you who have samples or sets of these chips, what do you think? For those who dont, I would suggest getting a sample of these just to check em out. You'll probably be surprised like I was. The one negative is the injection spot, but I think its easy to get over. Anyone know of any new versions of these with edge spots or multicolors or anything?

Glad you posted this. I just ordered some of these. It cost me $75 AFTER shipping for 1000 chips. The price is amazing... I got them to hold things over until find the clay's I want and then will use them for large tourneys in the future.

Yeah the price cant be beat. And even if the price was the same as other comps, some color on these would put them on top easily. I would say Nexgen's probably beat out the faux chips as the best composites right now, but only because of the edge spots which are very "claylike." I'm not a big fan of the weight of the Nexgens though. If only the faux chips had edge spots like that...

I have mine sitting next to my 20 1$ Belliago chips. For feel and sound the faux dice are awfully close to the real thing. With edge spots and a little color they would be hard to beat. I bought mine on ebay 900 chips and cases for $42 shipped.

Would you please post some pictures. I was thinking about doing the same thing but wonderd how it would look since they dont have a recessed center.

where are they 6 cents? Does anyone sell them besides wedoitallvegas? Also, the pokerchipreviews says "This is the first of the low-cost 'next generation' chips that I've received". Are there other versions out there he hasn't tested?

I dont think he has had any others. wedoitallvegas is where they are 6 cents. Its a limited time offer, where they take off 25% from your oderd. Its only for a couple of weeks i think. When you go to the site there should be a pop up with a bonus code.
----edit----
its 5stardeal not wedoitallvegas... sorry folks

also, I emailed pokerchipreviews on them and he sent me a link to a new video review that included the faux clays. Keep an eye out, I assume he will be adding it to his site soon. Thanks again John!

I would have guessed labels would not work well on these chips. I'm also interested to see the pics.
I bought 40 of these chips just to see what everyone was talking about, and they are very very nice especially for .06 cents.
Also, about 2 months ago I spoke with 5stardeal.com to see if an updated version of these chips is on the way with a recessed center and edge spots and they responded that they haven't heard anything, and then they started blabbing about the Paulson chips.

I'm glad these chips are getting the attention they deserve. The 10 grammers are the steal of the chip world right now IMHO.
The movie that CnC is talking about is a first attempt at the chip comparison. I don't like how it turned out, and I'm going to re-do it...but in the meantime, you guys are welcom to check it out. The 10 grammers are at the end of the show.
