Guys,
In my search for the perfect 2 deck carrying case I stumbled on this set up (page down to the bottom of attached page):
http://www.kardwell.com/caesars-palace-poker-supplies.html
Has anyone heard anything (good or bad) about this Caesars Palace set up. At 30 bucks for the cards and that sweet looking case, I may bite. My main motivation is a 2-deck case anyway. The graphics on the inside of the cards are butt ugly but worst case scenerio is I would have a nice looking case to store my Copag's (I don't like the open top box that the Copag's come with)

That is a sweet looking case! I may pick one up just for the novelty factor of pulling out the chips, then this little metal briefcase with cards inside. What's with those "poker dice"? That is just flat out rediculous. I'd say go for it and pitch the cards.

Don't pay $30, you can get that at Walmart for $13. They go in and out of stock though. Let us know if the cards are any good if you get one.
You didn't get a top to your Copag box? Weird. They package them open to display the cards but the case should have been in it's top. It doesn't happen to have a big Copag logo on the bottom does it LOL?

I got my Copag cards on Friday. The case was included with the cards exposed. The cover was attached to the bottom of the case. Case was'nt very cool looking. That Caesars case looks great. I'll check Walmart on line.

Ky70. The link to Walmart.

This is not a Spam. Why pay $30 when it can be bought for $12.67. Trying to help out a fellow member. I'll buy one myself when it's available.

Here are the Copags I have (I "love" these cards) and the case they came in:

Thanks for the heads-up on the case...I'll be on the lookout for them.

My question is what do you all think about all these kems and copags that are being sold on ebay in virtually the same packaging. I bought a pack of kems and they’ve basically fallen apart in about a week. I was thinking about buying some copags but I'm very suspicious as to weather these cards (kem and copag) are authentic. I have decided to buy some from pc.com simply because they are reputable but still, I am nervous... Also I saw a pack of kems in the brown box on ebay labeled "California club". The seller noted that these were different than Club Casino in that the California club is a vinyl card, where as the other is the standard cellulose acetate. Then I read on few sites that kem never produced a vinyl card, yet why would the guy point out something like that if they were knock offs; as well as the fact that they appear to be factory sealed. Any thoughts?

The top comes on the bottom.

That's funny because I had the same problem when I first got my Copags. Hey great box, but the open top won't keep the cards in! Why in the hell would they do that. Then I realized I'm just an idiot, the plastic case top is on the bottom...

I got my Copag's from this site. Not a "Hormel."

Stroll down the page and read their "About Us" regarding the Kem's and Copag's.

My friend who received some Kems and Copags by mail last week commented on the same thing when he saw my Kems: "Oh, so you got covers for your boxes". When I pointed out his error, he said that he didn't care a hang.

LOL...took me a minute to figure that out too, but the cards will still slip out of the open end some time and slide out even if you have the open end "covered"...and those great cards deserve better than that cardboard cover. If others are happy with the cardboard, that's cool, but my Copag's deserve better!

LOL, hmm... OK I'm not sure we're being understood, one more try.
Double decks of Copags come in a 2 piece plastic box (well, 3 piece really, there's the neat little card clamp thing), which when closed completely encloses the cards. This is in a cardboard sleeve for sales purposes. The cardboard sleeve is not the box top. The box top is a separate piece of plastic. The box bottom is pressed into the box top so that it can be shipped open to display the cards. It kinda seems like it's one piece but it's not. To find your box top: Look at the bottom of the plastic box. Does it have a big Copag logo in the middle of it? This is your box top. Carefully pull the top off of the bottom and enjoy.

I must say, Classic!

ROTFLMAO The third piece that Iron Butt refers to is the gold and black Copag emblem piece of plastic that sits between the two deck. If you put it on the divider it loosely clamps on to minimize the potential from the two cards from intermingling. It doesn't hold all that well even when new, so my only conclusion is that it is intended to be used in conjuction with the base of the box ... er I mean the box top

EARTH TO KY70! COME IN KY70!
I didn't realize that at first either, but it only took me 10 mins to figure out

Yea it took me 2 days. I was just holding the box baffled by the idiots who designed the stupid thing. I vaguely recall seeing some website advertise the copags "with plastic case included," but I was sure that this "new packaging" sucked. Then i noticed the fancy "2-layered" plastic bottom that held the cards... I turned the case over, saw the logo, and promptly pried off the top, muttering to myself, "yea, I knew that."

I guess I'm not quite as "bright" as you jay98643, but I don't "play" around with the case at all...I take the cards out, I use them and then I put them back. With that in mind, I'm sure a reasonable person could understand how this could be easily missed...but don't get me wrong, your piggyback/second to the dance humor is still appreciated

Found the Caesar set-up on Amazon for 17.99. I may bite because that is a great looking case...if the Caesar cards are as cheap as they look, they can go in the Copag case

Jay34689; I didn't realize that at first either, but it only took me 10 mins to figure out.
It took you ten mins? It took me one minute. I got the cards in the case, said "WTF?" turned it over and I "Spahked Da Covah." (Hawaiin talk meaning...'I discovered the cover.')

No offense intended here, we all can do with a little help once in a while, else no one would need sites like this.
Re Amazon, that's a good find. I've thought about getting that before but they go out of stock at Walmart real quick, so that's probably a good way to go.

I hear u brudah...but I can honestly say that all I have ever done with the box was slide it in and out the sleeve ...I never spent 2 seconds examining the box because it was the cards that I was excited about. Now after removing the top (from the bottom) with a chisel (lol, it was on there tight) it isn't a bad case at all. Thanks again for opening my eyes.
I want to try my local Wal-Mart for that Caesar set up b4 I go the Amazon route
