You are going to have to tell us the cards on the board in order to determine.

I don't think the cards on the board are relevant but they are: 2-spade, k-heart, j-diamond, 5-spade and 9-club. Again, I have, in my pocket A,9 and my opponet has Q,9. The tie is a pair of 9's. Who wins the pot?

You win. You both have a pair of nines but you have a ace kicker.

Just so u know MDock, for future reference, had the board cards been something like:

KKKJ9

It would have been a split pot bcos both players have a full house Kings over 9s and the kickers mean nothing. Similarly, a board of:

4,5,6,7,8

Would also result in a split pot bcos both have a 9 high straight and inconsequential kickers.
