I understand this is texasholdem-poker.com but if there is enough interest maybe a forum section on other poker forms would be nice I just started player omaha and 7stud Hi/Lo and find the games incredible. If you haven't played these games and only play hold'em I know your thinking these games sound too complex or that you only need hold'em but believe me these games really are very simple and VERY profitible. In a game like omaha hi/lo the expert player will almost always win as opposed to hold'em where really anyone has a shot. I am just so sick and tired of getting aces cracked to 7,2 and telling myself its all good in the long run that I just need to take a break from hold'em! Anyone experienced at any of these games and want to help at the novices?
Did you know that participating in a poker forum can help you improve your own game? Be it by sharing experiences or simply asking for help, participation in a forum helps you focus and keep 'on topic' which will help you improve your game. You can learn from other players feedback and from their experiences. Why the THP poker forums? We offer one of the best managed texas holdem poker forums available, and the community within is far more friendly than those typicaly found on other sites. We've made a 'lurkers edition' of the poker forum available here on Holdem Poker Online, but we encourage all visitors to register and join in on the conversations on TexasHoldem-Poker.com

I have dabbled in both Omaha and 7-card stud in my time and they both seem like good games but I don't feel I can commit the time to learning them well enough to try and play properly.
I'm a total retard when it comes to Hi/Lo cos I've never read the rules so I'm sitting there with what I think is a gr8 high OR low hand and it invariably loses. I should really read up on that u know

It's really hard to learn about Hi/Lo games Omaha and 7-Card stud b/c there aren't many tournies televised on them and there are very few books. I do not totally know what a good hand is and what junk is. They DO interest me however.
