Whats the best way not to bite your arms off?

Aaaargh!! another beat! this one makes me feel particularly ill so i am whining about it!

In an mtt, around a $30 buy in, so there shouldnt be too many fools playing...(well u hope).
down to the final 50 or so and am doing well, have doubled up since the beginning.
i have been playing fairly aggressively so far and have pushed some people off pots.
its a 10 man table and i am averagely stacked.
i get dealt kk in sb. get one caller in early and one in late. i raise triple bb looking for someone to think i am bullying again with my normal raise. bb folds out, but both callers call the raise.
flop 8 7 2 with 2 diamonds. perfect i think, hopefully one of them has called with low cards hoping to catch me out....
the pot is around $1000, and i lead into it with a bet of $500. the next to act goes all in over me (his stack is equal to mine approx) and the guy in late folds. i think for a few moments....he may have hit trips or two pair, or simply looking to push me off with a flush draw....
i weigh the odds and decide its definitely worth calling.
he turns over 10 7 off, and i smile :D
i am way out there in front!
turn comes 7
river comes 10
Shocked
i am out!!
so are there any good techniques anyone knows to stop me biting my arms off, cos i dont know if i can stop myself.....!!!
