I could not find it.
I think your getting the RAIL and RACETRACK mixed up. The rail is covered with Vinyl.. I would like a cupholder on top of the Rail plus cover it in Vinyl.

Ive never done one like that but I read somewhere that you cut the hole for the cupholder in the foam when you put the foam on your rail. Then when you rap it in vinyl you can see where the hole is and you carefully cut the vinyl out. Then you just put the cupholder there and somehow fasten it, Im not sure how. HTH

Yea that helped a little. I am not building an octagon type table. I'm building a hold'em table. By the looks of those rails I'm going to have to build out my rail to about 5 or 6 inches.
Do you think that would work?
Does anyone have pictures of a holdem table with cupholders on/in the padded rail?

why would you want the cupholders in the rail? Spillage is bound to happen.
Just put/make triangle shape end tables right by the table. Just my opinion.

I am building a table right now as well and I considered the holders in the rail because I don’t want a race track. I have decided not to do it but I would recommend this. Rather than simply cutting a hole in the foam and vinyl when you build the rail add wood donuts (so to speak) to act sort of as a frame for the cup holders. The ring should be the same thickness as the foam or slightly thinner and would end up being flush with the top of the rail. The whole reason for this is I think it looks really bad when the rail is smashed down around the cup holder and it also gives you something more substantial to staple the vinyl to. It also insures that your cup holder will sit flat and level. Anyway, good luck whatever you do; the railing is definitely the most challenging part. If you have questions about this pm me and I will try and give better info.
