Im gonna order 300 chips from pokerchips.com
I was wondering if i should have pokerchips do my lables for 95. per chip or get the roman border with edge spots for 50. a chip and have either lynbark or jason get me some custom decals for like 30 bucks or so.
This would save me alot of money but im afraid the decals will not turn out good, anybody have any or know if they will look good?thanks

Personally I would go with the inlay instead of a sticker. It will certainly cost more but you would be happier in the long run. The inlay will be an intergal part of the chip and should not ever come off like a sticker could.

but think about this though if the sticker comes off, could just put another one on.I just want them to look good, like its actually part of the chip.I saw a guys post on here just a little bit ago,he had nexgens with the chipco classic design decals on them and i thought they looked fantastic.Im just hoping the design i want comes out that good.btw i think im gonna go with the nevada jack martini club decals,5's,25's,and 100's.

I agree with Mr. Meaner. I don't see much point in investing in clay chips and customizing with a sticker. You might as well buy a real nice composite for that purpose. The label on the Pokerchips.com chip will be part of the chip and shouldn't come off under normal use. If you are really worried about that you can check into the TR king chips. Their Labels are reported to go very deep into the chip and are pratically impossible to remove.

Go w/ pc inlays... definitely. Your 2nd option would be no lables at all IMHO. 3rd would be Nexgens and wait until you decide it's worth the money. The unlabled chips do not have a recessed center.

I dont think sticklers will hold well on the clay chips. Don't the roman molds have a rough pattern in the middle? All I have is a horsehead and a diamond mold from them, and both are rough in the middle.

They can do that? How did you find this out? I don't see any posts from them with a whole lot of info re custom decals that you can stick on. What kind of stickers are they? Are they paper or something more substantial like vinyl? Can they do scalloped?

I found one post talking about this.
http://www.texasholdem-poker.com/forum/t8603/chip-label-protection?start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=
It mentioned these links:

There are some nice looking inlays. Has anyone used these on clay chips? I'm not too sure about "high quality paper". That doesn't sound like it'd last very long. There's been some talk about spraying but it mentions spraying the whole chip which would be bad with clays. I wonder if you can spray or laminate the inlay only. I haven't seen any scalloped inlays. I suppose they may just be using the standard circular labels from http://www.worldlabel.com/autoconfig/autoconfigs.asp?finditemnum=ol1025 (also from that post). If they could do scalloped and there was something on the surface to make it reasonably durable, then they might have something worth sticking onto a trking or asm blank (with edgespots, of course).
