RT Plastics custom question.

Posted Sun Feb 20, 2005 10:24 pm GMT by leetpants
I know that Gamblers offers custom RT Plastic Chips, but with only the dynasty design.

If you get custom chips, can you chose the colors? I may wanna take advantage of this offer if you can get custom colors, otherwise i really dont want them if they all have white edges.

Anyone know? Thanks.

Last time I checked (a while ago), you could get 3 spot colors: white, yellow, blue.

May have changed by now. I also encourage pestering them about making the different patterns available.

I totally agree!!!!! Some of the 'casino only' designs from RT Plastics are amazing.

One of my favorite RT Plastics chips:

The "Tuscany" design.

I called them wanting to start an order with this pattern but they wouldn't do it. Plus the inlays are essentially stickers with a protective clear sticker. If they would let me choose the Tuscany design and do a real casino quality inlay, I'd buy a set in a heartbeat. They're similar to a bud jones chip. The Chumash above has a quality inlay.

That particular Chumash chip is a Bud Jones Chip according to the Chip Guide.

I don't think that's correct. The tuscany is an exact match. Bud Jones has some similar patterns and could probably do the same thing, but I don't think that's the case here. It's the exact same thing with a different inlay. Plus they have a bunch of other RTP chips and no other clear BJ chips.

Since Chumash has used Chipco and RTP, it doesn't prove otherwise if they didn't use BJ either. All the other denoms of that style was attributed to BJ.

Although it does look like a RTP chip, no way to be sure unless you ask RTP themselves.
