Did I play this hand correctly...

ok... i was in a b&m tournament this saturday... there were about 30 people entered and the top 3 were in the money.. i beat my first round table and made it to the final table.. it was a no limit tourney and there were 6 of us at the final table and it was just starting so everyone had pretty much the same chip stack (about 8000 in chips) and the blinds were at 100-200.. just a bit of back first.. normally at a new table i sit back and wait for premium hands and just play straightforward.. i like my table image to be a tight agressive straightforeward player.. once i have that image i start changing gears and get to steal more than my fare share of pots.. to get this image if i get foldouts where i had top pair or two pair i usually turn one or two hands over... (just to let them have a bit more information)... well early into the table i was getting a rush of good cards and in about 6-10 hands into it i already had that image pretty much down.. (got about 3 foldouts in a row).. now i'm on the button and i get Q-Jo.. i raise for a standard 3xBB.. to make it 600 to go, blinds folded and i got two callers... flop came Q-J-5 rainbow.. now the two other guys in this pot i put them on pretty much any wheel cards or premium hands (to short into table to know more exactly).. i don't put them on KK, QQ, AA, JJ.. cause i figure they'd have raised before it got to me or they'd have reraised me preflop.. anyways.. i bet out 3000 (i got excited and accidentally overbet the pot) with the two pair.. next guy folds and the other calls... turn comes up K.. now this worries me a little so i move all-in knowing that if i double up now i'll have the rest table in trouble (they weren't necessarily strong players and i was confident i'd get the better of them).. he quickly calls and show A-Qo.. i open my hand and no one even looks concerned by the two pair.. river comes up 10.. and he made his straight... this beat leaves me with about 400 in chips so now i'm pretty much crippled so i just wait until i get two wheel cards and move in.. needless to say i get Q-Jo.. and move in.. with callers and raises it gets to heads up and there's about 2000 in the pot.. he shows Qx-9d... board catches 4 diamonds and i'm officially out of the tournament..

my question is did i play this hand correctly or weas i getting over agressive too fast and should've just checked the rest of the hand after the call on the flop?

I’m not sure about this. You moved in strong to represent the straight and push out players who might have been drawing but you did it at a time where you risked running into a someone with KQ, KJ, K5 or AT, which are the kind of hands you put them on for openers.

Then again I’m not sure the guy should have called with AQo when that king fell. I think he over estimated his draw.

The only thing I know for sure is that paragraphs are our friends :D
