Ceasar's IN..remodeled

I hadn't been to Ceasar's in awhile and since work made me go to Kentucky for a seminar last week I decided to take a couple hours and play some poker & craps on the way.

The first thing I notice is that the poker room was moved about 100ft to the oppisite wall and they now have a wall around the outside to block the noise. Great improvements! Noise was not a problem. Something else new was that they changed their "Bad Beat" jackpot to Aces full of Queens.(instead of Aces full of Tens) They also have a cage right there now so that was nice not having to mess with. The dealers were OK not to many smiles but they weren't messing up either.

They put up a board behind the counter to see the games going on and the lists for them. When I arrived they had a list for 3/6(which they did have last time I was there) 5/10, 10/20 Texas Holdem and there was a game of Omaha going on but I don't remember what it was. There was 8 tables going.

I got on the 3/6 and 5/10 lists and got one of those buzzers so I could play some craps while I waited for a game. Well that decision cost me more than I wanted. But before I could bleed to death the buzzer was going off and I was in a 3/6 game.

Now I have never played in any limit games except 5/10 so I had the idea when I sat down that since the craps gods were not nice that I would play very tight and see how it would go. I've read others stories about the draws and capped pots with 6 or 7 people seeing the flops in these low limit games and I'm here to say they are right on. The 3/6 game was too loose.

I'm going to summerize here and say that I didn't drag one pot in 2 hours. Now I know that I'm not the best player on this boat but not one stupid pot in 2 hours....whatever!! Draws, runner runner straights, people calling pre-flop capped raised pots with Ten,4?????

Anyway I learned my lesson and will not make it again. I should have moved to the 5/10 game but that was another mistake I made. So 3 bad decisions and I'm off the boat and on my way. Man it really pisses me off when I give stupid people my money! Losing to a better player is tolerable but losing it to stupid f'ng f's isn't! Anyway I'll be in Vegas in 2 weeks and I'll choose tables better there.

Later

PS. If the Craps gods are reading this I'm truely sorry for all the name calling..... You guys ROCK!!

I live on the other end of Indiana, outside Chicago, and I've never been to Ceasar's. Thanks for the scouting report.
