I dunno if this is new or not, but cardroomsupply.com has the WSOP duplicates for sale now. Of course, they're ChipCos, so they have a big 'ol white outer circle. WHY!!?!!?!?
But, I guess that's as close as you're gonna get.

They also raised the price from .72 cents pre-sale to $1.10 a chip now.

Who in God's name would pay $1.10 for those chips?

Okay, I just saw the 20 page topic about this. My bad.
Is there some reason they have to put that white circle around the chip? I don't get it. NJs don't have it. I think it just really takes away from what would have been an A+ chip.

I think it’s primarily because after a while the chips will wear around the edge and the image will rub off so I think some people just think it will look better to print them that way so it’s a sharp line and doesn’t make the chip look old and used... Obviously it could just be thats how they wanted them to look..?
maybe im just crazy.

you're right, its due to wear. The chip has a slightly concave face so only the edges will wear. They can do full bleed. i think holdmepokerchips.com has some chipcos that do.

I just think on this particular chip it's disastrous. Especially if the edge spots don't line up, and my bet is that they don't. The Suits chips don't.
