You know you are playing with fire here and we are likely to get a report about the passionate night she spent with her husband and maybe an aside about the cards :D

I wanna hear about the trip too.......

Such a bad reputation I have picked up!!!
Embarassed

Sorry about the lag in the report andy had yesterday off work so we were..uhh..busy...ya thats it busy.

As far as my casino trip goes. It was great. We went to Niagara and after a few questions at the desk of the hotel found that only the new casino has holdem so off we went with our friends. Nicole and Sean headed into the crowd to play slots. Andy and I hunted around til we found the poker area and I signed in to play holdem. Blinds were higher than I would have liked 4/8...but I came and I had to play so I signed in anyhow. We floated around and Andy settled into a cheap roulette table and I headed back for poker.

No spectacular hands to be reported. My roll floated up and down. Nobody gave me a hard time about being either a beginner or a woman..I was the only one in the space but no one minded. I got flirted with huge which was nice. The guy on my right was soo drunk and I guess he didnt want to take my money everytime he had something good he would say..dont do it honey. I really wasnt sure what to think of that..kind caught between flattered and insulted. It's funny I was so suprised at how much slower it was than online..but thats silly I should have expected that. Went through two dealers, both of which were both good and nice. I didnt see many big hands. I picked up three straights and one very pretty nut high flush which was nice.

By the time 3am rolled around and it was time for the four of us to meet up I was up around 350 so I have to say it was a great success all in all. I had a bit of trouble memorising my cards at the very beginning but once I relaxed it was all good. The people were all different but the three guys I spent most of the night with were great. Chatty. I think I did pretty good and I did want to go back the next day but I had promised andy we could check out some other things in the city.

So Sean and Nicole were up 250 from slots, Andy did not bad on roulette bringing back 60 more than I left him with and I picked up around 350 plus whatever I used for drinks (most of which were nothing or purchased by fellow players) and tips for the dealer. All in a a fun night that landed us all some cash. Sean and Nicole went over to the old casino after breakfast and picked up another 80 on the slots but since there is no poker there Andy and I saw some sights. The falls, Ripleys, a couple wax museums etc. Basically our winnings paid for a great day of fun and relaxation and even covered our room. We are looking forward to doing it again.

The night back at the hotel? No details boys..just....puuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

As for the room..poker room that is...kinda disappointing. The casino is grand, like really beautiful. But I would have thought they would put a little more thought into the poker area. It's a roped off area but it's right next to both the slots and a club that is kjnda rowdy so the poker area is kind of noisy.

I would love to see what things are like in Atlantic city or even Vegas someday but for now I am back to my bedroom and the pc.

You played 4/8 a couple hours your first time ever live in a casino and you WON $350!

Good god, woman! You kicked ass!

(Now please send me a check for $100. You didn't think this was a free tuition site, did you?)

LOL ..mindgame I am so happy you are around a bit more. Ya I guess I did kick ass. But no like big wins in one hand..except the flush...I have no idea why they were all in there...better yet they kept raising it for me which was nice of them. A guy across the table had flopped a straight so I get him but there were five of us in that pot and the other three really had nothing..one had a small pocket pair but with so many overcards on the board, he was just giving away his chips. One guy had slick, but there was no help for him even at the bend and he was the hardest raiser of the bunch...the last of the bad three had a J10 and I must say he just sucked really bad. Him and the slick guy were the ones mostly responsible for my winnings. They were both very loose players and had more than a few drinks in them. They both came in with a lot of chips and both left broke.

They also both had wives watching from the half wall. If either of them had been my husband I think I would have jumped the wall and pushed them out of thier chairs.

The one big big plus of the night was Andy had decided NOT to play poker. On the way there he was talking about playing and I was so happy he changed his mind. Leaving him on the wheel with 150 let me play better as I wasnt watching out for him at all..having him there would have totally distracted me. Sean and Nicole were both standing at the wall during the flush and it was nice to hear them whooping as all those chips came my way.

Just out of curiousity that flush brought me just over 200, I gave the dealer a ten dollar chip..was that ok? A couple of bucks for each of the straights...good hands but not much in winnings. Pushed him 25 at the end of the night when I left.

Would have loved to stay longer but the cards were cooling off and it was 3am, I was getting tired and I knew I was going to get sloppy...had been up since 5 and between the free drinks and the ones my tablemates were buying I was getting a bit loose so I left.
